Mastodon is still quite easy to update on the server. It took me 21 minutes with Docker-compose to update from v.2.2.0 to v2.3.2. It's the time I took to connect to the server, check everything is fine, update Mastodon and run the migration tasks.
But I'm not going to setup ElasticSearch to allow searching toots. I prefer to keep things simple.
