What printer/scanner do you recommend which works out-of-the-box with a Linux computer?
If it is a network printer it is better.
I have heard HP printers work all great, is it true?

Here what I do:
1) buy a wireless printer
2) transfer the file(s) to be printed to my phone
3) send it to the printer from my phone
4) Curse Linux for not working.
Or option 2:
1) Look up printers on the Arch (which is the most complete, IMO) Wiki
2) buy one printer
3) hope it works
