I'm looking at the Go and Rust programming languages because I would like to learn a language which is modern, performant, compiled and could be very efficient for async and distributed tasks.
I don't have a precise use case yet, but I would like to use it as a web server to do things like API requests and also as a crawler. Lots of I/O.
I find tools like IPFS and Etcd are inspiring (even though it is not web).
What would you suggest?
