I upgraded Mastodon to the latest 1.4.6 and again no issue!

I did the whole update in just 17 min, including a backup before (yes, I timed it)

Great work @gargron !

Interesting initiative.

@lattera I never tried a Purism laptop, but if you say they are not well built, it is a little bit disappointing.

I'm used to Thinkpads, and I like their build quality. I hope some Linux laptop vendor will approach this build quality one day.

Purism's laptops are getting more and more popular and that's good news!

They build laptops with Linux installed and privacy in mind.
They also designed a tablet pc "Transformer" with Linux.

A good initiative to support!

"America Is Now a ‘Second Tier’ Country" - Bloomberg

"The authors note that wealth is no guarantee to first-tier access. Even among nations with similar GDP, “countries achieve widely divergent levels of social progress.” It’s true a little bit of economic growth goes a long way toward improving lives, but those gains taper off at more mature stages of development."

@moritzheiber Thank you, I will maybe give gopass a try, I only knew the simple UNIX pass.
For Hashicorp's Vault, I think it is too big for me in order to use it for my personal projects, but I will keep it on a side for sure when I will feel the need.

@KillianKemps Try Hashicorp's Vault and gopass for a change .. I've found both of them to be a stunning match for storing secrets in diverse environments

It's good to store your app's secrets in an Ansible Vault to avoid Git to take it in clear.
It's less good when you forgot the Vault's password.

If you like the way the GNU/Linux distribution Solus is going, you can support the team, because @ikey has quit his job at Intel to work full-time on the project!

Thanks a lot to Solus for improving the Linux Desktop and making it easy to use!
I'm very excited for the Linux Driver Management to finally be able to use Nvidia Optimus on Linux 😀

@twsh Thank you for the link to Go For It! It is interesting to see each one its own solution.
Since I tooted that I'm searching a todo list app that suits me, I'm currently trying a workflow with Taskwarrior + Timewarrior + Calendar

I plan in my calendar the tasks I want to do, taking into account the others things I have to do in a day. And then, in Taskwarrior with Timewarrior, I follow the tasks I'm doing in the projects.

It's not perfect, but for the moment it works :D
