@MicroJoe Thank you, yes I'm having the same conclusion. I would like to replace NodeJS because I don't manage to use it well (I should also maybe take time to learn it again).
So, Go seems to be a good alternative and has maybe a better way to do async stuff than NodeJS.

I'm looking at the Go and Rust programming languages because I would like to learn a language which is modern, performant, compiled and could be very efficient for async and distributed tasks.

I don't have a precise use case yet, but I would like to use it as a web server to do things like API requests and also as a crawler. Lots of I/O.

I find tools like IPFS and Etcd are inspiring (even though it is not web).

What would you suggest?

@Bat Ah ouai ? Non pas du tout. Je pense que c''est un problème Github car dans tous les cas tu devrais toujours avoir les accès sur ton propre fork.

Et dans pas très longtemps aussi, il y a Passage en Seine, le rendez-vous des hackers et des libristes.

Il y aura des conférences et des ateliers pour contribuer toujours plus aux projets libres.

Oui c'est vrai Meewan, je n'ai pas parlé du cas de l'IPv4, j'avoue ne pas y avoir pensé, ça dépend des FAI.
Pour le mail, je n'ai pas détaillé mais j'ai mentionné très rapidement que c'est plus compliqué.
Je n'ai pas cherché à auto-héberger mes emails mais de tout ce que j'ai pu lire, je pense que c'est mieux de laisser ça a un prestataire car je considère ça comme critique.
Bon, mon article n'est pas exhaustif :D

@AmarOk Thank you, yes Habitica is an interesting alternative. I will check it again to see how it has changed, but even though it is open source, it doesn't seem easy to self-host.
I remember the mobile client could only sync with the official website. And the CDN integrated to the software can't be easily removed. Things like that stopped me to use it :/

Do you know of a nice todo list app? I'm searching one since months, but can't find one that suits me.
I would like it to be Open Source and very user-friendly.

For the moment, Todoist has a nice interface, but is not Open source. TaskWarrior is powerful, but has no UI and is complicated to setup between several devices.

I would like also to know if it would be possible to estimate time for tasks, and get the schedule automatically organized in my calendar.

Hop, migrated to Mastodon 1.4.1 with Docker!
Again, I had no special issue while doing the upgrade.
The only thing is that I had a limited storage on my server, so I had to upgrade my server.
The Mastodon team is doing a great work!
